Jr. Dog Trainers Camp

Junior Dog Trainers Camp is a weeklong summer day camp where kids (grades 5-8) learn valuable dog training skills while helping shelter dogs improve their manners and enhance adoptability.
Campers will:

  • Work with and train shelter dogs to have basic manners
  • Try their hand at agility and trick training
  • Learn about dog health, behavior, grooming and the role of dogs in our community
  • Take part in fun activities to promote their dog’s adoption


    • Jr. Trainers Camp is taught by Certified Pet Dog Trainer Annie Ingersoll. Four different sessions are offered throughout the summer. All 2010 Junior Trainers Camps are now full; registration is closed. A schedule and registration information for next year’s camps will be posted in March 2011.
